Place your index finger on the button on top of the Injector.
The middle finger and thumb of the same hand keep holding the ribbed safety lock in the ON-position. The needle penetrates the skin when you press the button on top of the Injector.

Hold the Injector steady in one hand while you carefully draw the plunger back with the other to check for the presence of blood.

Continue with the injection, unless you see blood in the syringe.
To release the medicine into the body, press down the plunger slowly.

Holding the Injector in one hand, pull the syringe holder (slide) backwards with the other, until you hear a click.
Make sure that you do not let go of the syringe holder before you hear the click; otherwise you will be given another injection.

Remove the Injector from your body.
Then remove the syringe from the gripping jaws on the slide.

Release the safety lock on the Injector and press the button on top, allowing the slide to glide forward to its starting position. Replace the Injector in the case.
